Cancellation & Refunds Policy – Fareseekr
Fareseekr is an independent travel booking assistance platform. We do not provide hotel or travel services directly. All bookings are fulfilled by third-party providers, and cancellation and refund policies are governed by the respective provider’s terms.
1. Nature of Cancellations
All cancellation requests are subject to the terms and conditions of the third-party hotel or travel provider.
Fareseekr does not control cancellation approvals but assists in coordinating requests on your behalf.
2. Cancellation Requests
Cancellation requests must be submitted through our customer support team via phone or email.
Upon receiving your request, we will initiate the cancellation process with the respective provider.
You will receive an acknowledgment email confirming that your request has been submitted. This does not guarantee cancellation or refund approval.
3. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered only if:
The booking terms of the third-party provider allow cancellations and refunds
The request is submitted within the provider’s allowed timeframe
The booking is not classified as a “no-show”
The provider approves the refund or provides applicable waivers
4. Service Fees
Service or assistance fees charged by Fareseekr for booking support are non-refundable once the booking is confirmed.
Additional post-booking service fees may apply for handling cancellations or refund requests, where permitted.
5. Refund Processing
Refunds are processed by the respective third-party provider as per their policies.
Fareseekr does not control refund timelines or approval decisions.
Once approved by the provider, it may take additional time for the amount to reflect in your original payment method.
6. Processing Timeline
Refund timelines vary depending on the provider and payment method used.
In many cases, the complete process may take up to 60–90 days from the date of request submission.
7. Supplier Charges & Penalties
Third-party providers may apply cancellation penalties or charges as per their policies.
Any applicable deductions will be communicated once the provider processes the refund.
8. Role of Fareseekr
Fareseekr acts solely as a facilitator. While we assist in submitting and following up on cancellation and refund requests, the final decision rests with the third-party provider.
9. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are generally not applicable in cases such as:
No-shows
Non-refundable bookings as per provider policy
Late cancellation requests beyond allowed timelines
10. Special Note
If a refund is not approved by the provider, Fareseekr may, at its discretion, refund any applicable post-booking service fees related to the assistance provided. Original booking service fees remain non-refundable.
